19 They went out from us, but they really were not part of us. If they had been part of us, they would have stayed with us. Instead they all showed that they were not part of us.

20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.[a] 21 I did not write to you because you do not know the truth but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.
